Invitation to Caleb's birthday party

By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. - Hebrews 11:8

Bonjour aunties and Uncles out there, apologies for not writing for a while. I am really quite tied up with chores lately that I don't even have time to log into my blogger. I wonder where have I spent my time, didn't achieve much lately except making my Mommy angry ;). She has blew up a few times already, God, please give her more patience when she is with me and please remind her that I am only 2 and not 22.

I am very excited as I am invited to Caleb ge ge's birthday party on Friday. I can't wait to sing birthday song and blow candles with him.

I was asked to sit in the timed-out chair just now for refusing to drink my milk. Pa pa and Mommy were very angry at me as I am usually very prompt and fast in drinking my milk. I think Mommy forgot that I have taken some snacks and juice in church before we came home from the bible studies. I was quite full and couldn't consume a big cup of milk. She lectured me for a while and did not force me to finish my drink. Hee, Mommy, I know you are not so cruel afterall. :)

I went to the library this morning for the story telling and the theme was the "Feast of Lanterns". We, kids have taken some pictures with Queen Topaz and the 8 princesses. Queen Topaz was carrying me when Mommy took the picture, she is so beautiful.

Yesterday, we went to Monterey Airport to send Auntie Alice off to London. I like this field trip when 5 of us play and run together. Who are we? Caleb, Harold, Dominic, Bing Bing and I. Wish Auntie Tricia would organize more of such outing.

Oh, side-tracked a little, Pa pa and Mommy were very proud of me when they brought me to watch Cars. I was able to sit through the whole show and it's definitely great watching movie at Cinema instead of watching DVD at home. Pa pa and Mommy love Cars and told me the moral of the movie, we must be humble and let God take charge of our lives. Well, I didn't quite understand what they were talking about but I will try.

Recently, Mommy starts to invite me to join them for dinner and my menu has more variety as compared to only porridge. Mommy said it's good to have more colors in my plate and therefore my brown rice porridge is always steamed with red, orange, yellow and green pepper with beets, green peas, spinach, cauliflower, green beans and sometimes alternate with carrots, avocado, egg yolk, tofu etc. It will come with Tilapia or Salmon fish. I nearly puke eating it daily, I feel much better when Mommy gives me more choices. I remember Uncle Chee Ping commented Mommy that she is torturing me... hee, think she caught his hint. Thanks Uncle Chee Ping, I know Pa pa hinted at Mommy before but she simply ignored him coz she wanted me to grow up healthy and strong. Pa pa and Mommy also claimed that I am a strange toddler, I like to eat ginger, garlic, yogurt and yet dislike sweet dessert. Therefore, Pa pa keeps wanting to share his candy with me to preserve my childhood memory. I love you Pa pa and the more you feed, the more I will enjoy my childhood.

Mommy says I am leading an idle and carefree life now and plans to start teaching me some preschool stuff. Well, I heard her said that a few months ago, still wondering when she is starting the 'program'. Please pray for her time management as she is rather weak in it. I am waiting patiently to learn more from Mommy everyday.

Oh, Mommy and I did a great job in sticking macaroni and pasta in a sheet of paper. It looked great, will snap a photo to show you. It's my gift for Pa pa. Hope he likes it too.

*Yawn* Sorry, gotta go to bed, it's 2am now, a number of items for Mommy's to-do list tomorrow:
1) Call Aunite Tara to arrange baby sitting her daughter, Triston on Monday
2) Visiting Auntie Wei and 3 sons in Fort Ord.
3) Grocery shopping in Commissary, Albertsons and Target.
4) Cooking sweet and sour pork for dinner (tot she wants to cook fried rice for me, think she forgets)
5) Wrap Caleb's ge ge birthday present
6) Upload photos from Dcam to hard-disk to blogger (this item has been up here for weeks)
* 7) Trolley bus field trip (think she will give this a miss again due to time constraint)*

After my Summer break...

It may be that the Lord will look on my affliction, and that the Lord will repay me with good for his cursing. - 2 Samuel 16:12

Hi, I'm back! (You have to bear with me for using this slogan often.) I was off vacationing in the Eastern Canada with Pa pa and Mommy. Thank you Lord for blessing us a safe journey. We went to Boston, Niagara Falls, Thousand Islands in Kingston, Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City. This was the longest holiday I have been to, about 2 weeks. We enjoyed ourselves very much but kinda missed home too. Maybe we were so used to living in our comfort zone, well-fed by Mommy and that was why we didn't like the food we took there... *score points again* ;).

I got to fly on the planes (from Monterey to Boston and back);
- rode on Maid of the Mist to have a closer look and feel of the Niagara Falls;
- went up CN Tower in Toronto which is the highest man-made observation deck in the world;
- traveled on a cruise around Thousand Islands, mostly for the rich and luxury men;
- saw plenty of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche and lots of top class sports cars in Montreal since they held the Formulae One race while we were there (yeah, what a timing! we nearly didn't get any lodging and it was a great experience for me to stay in a backpacker hostel);
- played in an amusement park in Quebec City and ran in the Plains of Abraham;
- and of course, last but not least, the feel of walking in Harvard Yard and MIT.

Oh oh oh, we also met a handsome Korean Uncle who sat beside us on our way back. He was so sweet, even helped Pa pa and Mommy to babysit me so that they can rest :)... hee, Pa pa and Mommy said it's very difficult to meet such guys now. I am going to be one when I grow up! Hee, but we forgot to ask his name as he was rushing for his next flight to Japan. Hope to see you again, Mr Handsome Korean Uncle.

I also got to collect some of the Cars models from Disney Pixar Cars movie. Pa pa and Mommy have tried their best to eat McDonalds, (although Mommy hates McDonalds) just to get me the cars. I love you Pa pa and Mommy. I do like the cars very much. I lacked only one car out of eight, does anyone has a spare Ramone for me? ;)

Hm... so far, the place that I love best is of course... Singapore! I missed my family and friends, Uncles and Aunties there... Counting down, 9 more months to go! Anyway, Mommy has started packing things into the luggage, we can run anytime. :). Ok back to my holiday, I love Quebec City best. It's a quiet and authentic old town, not to mention the heavy odor of the foal's urine, hee hee! I enjoyed my time running up and down the slope on the plains of Abraham. The plain was very very big, since there were few people in such a big plain, Mommy took off my shoe and let me ran around. Mommy said she prefers to live there than in Monterey. We also visited the Residence of Canada's current Governor General in the Fort. She has a magnificent view of the St Lawrence's River from her residence.

Mommy said I can speak in complete sentences now after the trip. Examples are:

- Pa pa, Mommy, Hengyue sat on the boat to see Niagara Falls and American Falls.
- Hengyue sat on the boat and saw a school bus traveling on the Rainbow bridge.
- Mommy, what are you doing? Are you ok?
- Pa pa, where are you? Pa pa is not at home, pa pa is in school.

Oh, I also know how to make Pa pa and Mommy happy. I said, "Thank you Father for Pa pa, thank you Father for Mommy."

I can sing more nursery rhyme now and even changed the lyrics to give Mommy a big laugh...

All the boats are swimming in the bubble bath, swimming in the bubble bath...
(Original: All the fishes are swimming in the water, swimming in the water...)
Old MacDonald had a farm, Ee i ee i o. And on his farm he had some cars, Ee i ee i o, and the car car car, car car car.... etc

When Mommy handed me my cup of milk, I told her "Merci" and she was so shocked. I learnt this in Montreal and Quebec since they are French speaking cities. Hee hee... so easy to please my Mommy... :)

It seems like I have so much to tell you and yet so little time. I gotta nap now as Pa pa and Mommy will be bringing me to watch Cars with Uncle John, Auntie Tricia and Caleb. Will continue my adventure when I have time ok. Oh, forgot to upload some pics, will do that the next time. Ciao.

Oh yeah, I enjoyed the Fourth of July Firework at the beach outside our place. I saw a smiley face firework too. The beach was 3 mins away since the main road was closed for cars. We had even laid on the beach towel to enjoy the fabulous firework. Too bad it's only once a year, wish to experience more of that...
