Back in Singapore

Hi Folks,

Sorry for MIA for a couple of months. I was back in my hometown on 25th March 2007. The feeling is good, I realised I actually have lots of cousins and relatives here. We spent the last few days at the Bachelor Quarters in Naval Postgraduate School with Uncle JB's family. Uncle JB also went back to Uzbekistan on the same day we left Monterey. We spent the afternoon at Auntie Yuen's house with Auntie Kamela, Manja and Janna. Lots of tears and hugs and kisses, which I wonder why adults are so emotional.

We spent some time in San Francisco before heading to SFO. I even had the chance to stroll on Golden Gate bridge and witnessed San Francisco lighted up in the evening. I will be back, San Francisco!

It was hectic at the airport since we brought along 9 baggages, 1 stroller and 3 hand carries. Papa brought me to return the car to car rentals and Mama queued for check-in. Thank God for His grace - Papa found a porter to help pushed in the baggages and the lady from the SIA counter, who assisted us was nice... everything went along smoothly as planned. Here I come Singapore!

We flew from SFO to Seoul and from Seoul to Singapore. I behaved myself very well on the flight. I read when I was bored, slept when I was tired and ate when I was hungry. I enjoyed my time on the plane although I didn't like watching the small TV screen right in front of my seat.

Singapore Changi Airport - I saw Popo, Ah ma, Ah gong, Yiyis, Yi Zhuang, Gugus, Da bo, Da bo mu, Gu po & family, all my cousins and also Uncle John, Auntie Tricia & Caleb. I didn't know why there was a glass panel doors detering us from hugging. I tried pushing the doors but they couldn't be opened. Finally, when I went out of the departure hall. I was hugged by all of them. I was overwhelmed with excitment that I forgot where my parents were. It was the happiest moment of my life. I wish I could play with them earlier.

Life in Singapore - I am enrolled into Talentplus now. I go to my playground 1.5 hours daily. I enjoy it very much. My parents have started working and my Popo is my main caregiver. I am not used to speaking Mandarin but I will try when I go to my Popo's house. My favourite friend is my Xiao Yi yi. I wish she could stay at home every day with me.

Gotta rest, will update more soon.
